we’re out of 2013 now and moving on to a new year. jim dies in 2018, but unfortunately we have a LOT of videos from the last few years of his life so we’re not actually all that close to done with our research but i think we’re over 50% now. today’s video is - i expect - going to be leaning heavily on the Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan, a text that has come up many times in our past videos so i’m not going to go into it beyond that link. just to say that this lilith thing is hardly a foundational part of either judaism or christianity, and dates to several hundred years after the life of jesus

for a video about lilith we have been talking about obama and communists a lot. hilariously - and kinda weirdly relevant to today’s world - he brings up this crop circle that appeared in california in 2014. i looked it up and to my complete shock, it was not the work of aliens. it was in fact the work of the nvidia marketing team doing a little promo. jim recognises that it’s a representation of a chip or something - maybe like nvidia makes - but he’s thoroughly convinced that it’s a symbol

jim says we can call geoglyphs the same thing as crop circles which no, you can’t.
talking about amazonian geoglyphs, jim is quoting some article: “‘what ever the purpose may have been, there’s one thing that is certain: the ancient civilizations of the rainforest were more numerous and sophisticated than previously imagined.’ WRONG! they are just what they were, savages in the jungle” boy oh boy

back to the original crop circle story and jim is implying there’s a government conspiracy to have the crop circle cut down because he thinks there’s something significant about the number 192. there was, in fact, something significant about that number, it was a teaser for the tegra 5 chip nvidia was about to announce

jim is going to be talking about another crop circle for a bit, and happily enough for me he gives enough detail that i could hunt it down. guess what? not aliens. art project. some white people out in the desert appropriating hindu philosophy, which sounds about right for oregon. anyway there are pictures of these people actually making it so anything jim has to say from this point on is total fantasy

jim makes an adam and steve joke with no sense of irony. i didn’t know there were still people extant who thought that joke was funny but i guess there were!

jim asserts that catholics have held mass at bohemian grove multiple times, specifically in front of the owl carving, but i am unable to find anything to substantiate that
first direct reference to infowars/alex jones/the watsons. jim brings up an article written by steve watson - paul’s older brother - on prisonplanet, a website that would eventually get folded in to infowars. hilariously, he’s talking about how alex infiltrated bohemian grove - funny to me because i’ve heard the jon ronson interview on knowledge fight where he talks about that exact incident. jon ronson ALSO infiltrated bohemian grove with alex but didn’t make a career out of lying about what was going on. he is very clear that alex was making stuff up to make it sound more exciting and sinister to his audience, and now jim has also been hoodwinked by it. it’s just liars and scammers all the way down
weirdly enough the video ends with jim talking about some of the sick people in their community and how you can pray for blessings and cursings in the name of yahweh, and then they do communion.
